Knitting4Good "Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you." (Luke 7:38)
Do you enjoy knitting
or crocheting? Have you considered turning your handiwork into a
source of comfort for others? We are looking for women (and men!)
who want to join together to create items of warmth and beauty for
others in our community. In November of last year, over 100 scarves,
headbands, and hats were given to the men, women and children who
attended "Sharing God's Bounty." We have also donated handmade items
for women and children to Wellsprings. In an effort to continue to
expand this ministry, we invite members of our parish community to
give us a call and let us know if you are interested in
"Knitting4Good." This is a great opportunity to help others, to meet
others, and with very little effort, to provide others with warmth
and hope. |
