Sharing God’s Bounty Dinner for the Hungry Every month St. Ignatius provides hot dinners for anyone who is hungry. The dinner is hosted on the last Wednesday of the month at 6 pm in our parish center. This ministry takes a village. We are always in need of food and other items to make this ministry possible
Clean up crew (4) – a dedicated crew of 4 people are needed to help clean up and break down the dinner. The main task is cleaning the surfaces in the kitchen. Arrive at 7 pm and be done by 8 pm! (1 hour a month)
Clothing room (2) – people are needed to help set up and take down the clothing room each month. This involves sorting and folding clothes and arranging them in an inviting way for our guests. Arrive at 4 pm and leave at 6 pm. (2 hours a month)
Volunteer Coordinator – this is a volunteer position that supports the Director of Mission and Outreach in managing the many volunteers in the Bounty ministry. The Coordinator gathering volunteer contact information, tracking Safe Environment training, and supporting the volunteers at the event. This role requires a friendly person who is detail oriented, easy to work with, and a problem solver, as well as someone who can work with well with teenagers. Please have event and/or volunteer management experience and must pass a background check. (6-8 hours a month).

Clothing & Other Items St. Ignatius receives donation of some clothing items for our clothing room at the Sharing God’s Bounty Dinners. Donations are received on the last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the month only--the days right before the dinner. (This is to keep this ministry manageable for staff and volunteers). Note: Please do not donate ripped, stained, dirty or impractical items (like high heels).
