OFFICE OF ADVANCEMENT
“Fundraising is proclaiming what we believe in such a way that we offer other people an opportunity to participate with us in our vision and mission. Fundraising is precisely the opposite of begging. When we seek to raise funds we are not saying, 'Please, could you help us out because lately it’s been hard.' Rather we are declaring 'We have a vision that is amazing and exciting. We are inviting you to invest yourself through the resources that God has given you – your energy, your prayers, and your money – in this work to which God has called us.'”
The St. Ignatius Parish Office of Advancement strives for the MAGIS – the More – in its efforts. Certainly fundraising is a part of it, but the creating of Catholic/Christian community is at the heart of all of our efforts here at St. Ignatius. In the end, we are here to promote God’s Kingdom.
Events raise money, but more importantly, events provide opportunities for members of our community to share with each other.
Offertory collections provide operating funds for the parish, but more importantly, your regular contributions allow us:
Ignatius said, “Find God in all things.”
“To set our hearts on the kingdom therefore means to make the life of the Spirit within and among us the center of all we think, say or do.” -Making All Things New
To this end we have the Office of Advancement.
