St. Ignatius Altar Society
St. Ignatius Altar Society is a support ministry for the care and maintenance of the interiors, linens and vestments of the Church.
Volunteers are needed to:
1. Help clean the church: light house cleaning on Friday mornings after 8:30 Mass for about 1 and ½ hours. Volunteers are usually assigned one month (of Fridays) and work in groups of 3-4. There are some opportunities to help clean the church on Saturdays too.
2. Iron small linens: collect the soiled purificators, towels and other small linens from the church on Sunday after 5:30 Mass or on Monday. Bring them home and wash and iron them as needed. Return them by Friday afternoon. Instruction will be provided.Time spent is 3-4 hours.Can sign up for 1-2 weeks at a time.
