Religious Education
(Kindergarten - 8th Grade)
Religious Education - Our parish offers a Religious Education Program for school-age children (Kindergarten to Junior High) on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This program gives children different opportunities to learn about God, and to grow in their faith and spiritual development.

Adult Confirmation Program - This program is for adults who are already catechized and need only to be confirmed. We offer this program once a year starting in January.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults/Children
A process designed to assist people who wish to become members of the Catholic Church or wish to complete the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
This class is for adults that are seeking to become Catholic or to complete Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. If you are interested, please contact Rachel Koenig, Assistant to the Director of Catechetical Ministries at (916) 744-5178, or email

Adult Education - Our parish offers a variety of adult education opportunities throughout the year for adults who wish to deepen their faith and grow in their spiritual life.
Catholics Come Home - This program is for anyone who has been alienated from the Catholic Church and wishes to return. This program is offered once a year as need arises.
Children's Liturgy of the Word During Mass
Our parish offers a program from October to April for school-age children (K-6th grade) at 9:30 a.m. Mass. The children are dismissed with an Adult Catechist prior to the Liturgy of the Word and are invited to reflect on the Sunday Scripture readings according to their age level.
Volunteers Needed
The Religious Education Program and Children's Liturgy of the Word are always in need of people who would like to share their time and talents with the young of our Parish. Those interested in volunteering must submit fingerprints via Live Scan and take online Safe Environment Training. Click the button below for more information on how to complete these steps.
