Arden Way Construction Update:

As of July 1, 2026...

Roadwork update: The contractor has informed us that the final asphalt fix on the main parking lot driveway is expected to take place during the nights of July 6th and, if needed, July 7th (not July 1st and 2nd as previously stated). The city is also planning to repave the road at this time.

Please note that we rely on information provided by the city, and timelines may change without notice. Updates will be provided as needed.

While the contractor is already on campus, we will also be taking the opportunity to repair and reseal several areas of our parking lots and roadways that have been in need of maintenance: the main parking lot itself, the back lot behind the garden room and the roadway along the PC down to the Friendship Tree. Preparation work will begin in mid-July, with the repairs scheduled for August 3–5, weather and scheduling permitting.

The goal of the current roadwork taking place outside our church is to add a new and safe bike lane, enhanced sidewalks, new traffic signals, and fresh landscaping to the stretch of Arden between Watt and Howe Avenues.  The project is funded by Sacramento County and the hope is this stretch will be complete by the end of 2025.  Click the button below for more information.
