Arden Way Construction Update:

As of February 2nd...

Beginning Monday, February 2nd, construction will begin on the driveways that lead to the east and west church parking lots. 

East parking lot (off Arden):  The easternmost drive on the east parking lot is under construction and unusable.  Please allow extra time entering and exiting the church. 

West Parking lot (large lot between church and school):  The three traffic lanes serving this parking lot (1 inbound, 2 outbound) will be reduced to two lanes (1 inbound, 1 outbound).  During school drop-off (Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.) and pick-up (Monday-Friday 2:40 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) please try to park in the lot off Arden, east of the church.  There will be no restrictions on turning left or right when exiting the parking lot. However, traffic flow will be monitored and adjustments may be made as needed.

The driveway will be completed in two phases, with one half of the driveway closed at a time.  Each phase is expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks.

As of January 20th...

Additional work activities begin on Arden Way outside the church and school the week of January 20th.  This is including but not limited to sidewalk reconstruction, paving, striping, signage and electrical/signal improvements. Work will occur weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be lane closures and increased noise. 

Please factor in extra time as you make your way to the church and school during the week.

The goal of the current roadwork taking place outside our church is to add a new and safe bike lane, enhanced sidewalks, new traffic signals, and fresh landscaping to the stretch of Arden between Watt and Howe Avenues.  The project is funded by Sacramento County and the hope is this stretch will be complete by the end of 2025.  Click the button below for more information.
