This year, against a national backdrop of food insecurity, the parish has committed to feeding 325 families at Christmas as our Advent Service Project—this is up from 300 families last year. Each family will receive a Christmas Dinner and a food box. Many of these families have children enrolled in local schools who typically rely on free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches. When schools close for winter break, families must provide these meals themselves, a burden that many simply cannot afford.
