2026: Pope Leo XIV begins a new catechesis series on the Second Vatican Council

After closing the Holy Door at St. Peter’s on January 6th concluding the Jubilee of Hope initiated by Pope Francis, on Wednesday morning, January 7th, Pope Leo XIV announced a new series of catecheses on Vatican Council II and its Documents. It’s been written that in doing so, he announced the direction of his pontificate. Over this next year we will regularly be posting these teachings on our website as a source for our shared reflection and prayer.
